Terms of use
Last updated: March 30, 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using WooduGo (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
The service
WooduGo provides an online marketplace for connecting users in the wood economy (for example firewood, land-related offerings, and related services). We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, lawful, or suitable for your needs. Transactions, inspections, payments, and meetups occur between users unless we state otherwise.
Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.
Listings and content
You are responsible for your listings and other content you submit. Content must be truthful, lawful, and not misleading. You must have the right to post any photos or text you upload. We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms or applicable law, or that we reasonably believe harms the marketplace.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no fraud, harassment, spam, scraping that degrades the Service, attempts to bypass security, distribution of malware, or use for illegal goods or activities. You will comply with all applicable laws, including those related to timber, land use, transport, and safety in your jurisdiction.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WooduGo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars, if you paid nothing.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify WooduGo and its operators against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law. Courts in Canada have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
